Job Summary
We're seeking a motivated and driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you'll work with top established businesses in the Home & Leisure product family, helping to drive growth across multiple categories. You'll build and grow relationships with a wide range of businesses, stakeholders, and decision-makers, from major Australian brands and retailers to family-owned SMBs and startups.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with our top established businesses in the Home & Leisure product family to drive growth across multiple categories, including home, lawn & garden, and appliances.
- Build and grow relationships with a wide range of businesses, stakeholders, and decision-makers, from major Australian brands and retailers to family-owned SMBs and startups.
- Collaborate with product and program teams to help with business education and adoption of Amazon services, such as Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and Sponsored Advertising.
- Develop expertise in your category using internal and industry data to understand the competitive landscape, identify customer behaviors, trends, and new opportunities.
- Relay business needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams to help improve both business and customer experiences.
A Day in the Life
Your core role and primary responsibility will be to manage businesses in the Home, Lawn & Garden, and Appliances categories. You'll work to accelerate and grow these businesses, helping them adopt Amazon tools and services to reach more customers. While the role will be primarily focused on business development, you'll have flexibility in how you manage your accounts and achieve your goals.
About the Team
The Home & Leisure team is a diverse and dynamic group of professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving growth for our selling partners. We work hard, but we also enjoy taking time out to celebrate major milestones and achievements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling businesses
- Experience within e-commerce or retail fields
- Experience with pipeline management skills, including utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Fluency in Mandarin
