Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Job

We are seeking experienced Aviation Maintenance Professionals to support the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platform. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results, and we need skilled individuals who share our commitment.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for safety and quality. If you are a motivated and organized professional with a certificate IV in Aero skills (Structures), this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

  • Undertake structures aircraft and component servicing
  • Provide direction and supervision as necessary
  • Undertake structures Quality Inspection activities
  • Completion of assigned tasks by undertaking a variety of activities, requiring the application of training provided in accordance with the appropriate documentation
  • Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation
  • Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures
Your Key Accountabilities:
  • Reporting to the assigned Maintenance Operations Manager
  • Liaising with Boeing, Commonwealth and other Industry teams involved in maintenance operations at Amberley
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Essential Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Aero skills (Structures)
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
  • Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures
  • Hold a C class driver's license
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
