Job Overview

The Warehouse Operative plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate picking and dispatching of plastic building products to our customer base. They are responsible for maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and adhering to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete all Picking documentation accurately.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team.
  • Achieve agreed-upon picking targets and report daily pick results to the Team Leader.
  • Conduct thorough visual quality checks before picking any product and report concerns to the Shift Coordinator.
  • Verify product placement before picking and ensure correct quantity, flagging any stock issues to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Label and date all individual loads correctly for dispatch.
  • Liaise with the Team Leader at shift end regarding incomplete pick requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy in allocated duties, reducing error rates.
  • Participate in bi-annual stock takes until completion.
  • Ensure the working area remains tidy and report hazards to the Team Leader.
Requirements:
