Shape the Future of Water Resources

Aurecon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Dams Engineer to join our Land and Water business. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients in the Energy, Resources, and Water Industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead dam projects from conception to operation, ensuring compliance with ANCOLD and State-based guidelines and regulatory practices.
  • Develop and implement dam safety management systems, including surveillance, safety reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver complex projects, leveraging your expertise in geotechnical, structural, and hydraulic engineering.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in industry events to stay at the forefront of dam engineering.

Requirements:
  • Civil engineering qualification with relevant dam industry experience.
  • Chartered Professional Civil Engineer and Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (considered favourable).
  • Excellent communication and technical report writing skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
