About Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support

This role is part of a broader program that aims to promote the rehabilitation of young people involved in offending, reducing crime in the community.

The service prioritizes partnering with children, families, and community supports to promote rehabilitation, addressing criminogenic risk and needs to reduce the likelihood of re-offending, and utilizing strengths-based and culturally supported approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of services within one broader program
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of the Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support trial, including electronic monitoring of bail
  • Work closely with stakeholders to embed the EBSS model in the Youth Justice system during the trial

This role has oversight over services delivered by staff working outside of usual business hours, requiring flexible work hours and an 'on-call' roster to respond to after-hours alerts.

About You:

  • Able to build and influence relationships with key agencies and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and understanding of the Youth Justice system and principles underpinning relevant legislation
  • Extensive experience in case management, case work, and assessments relevant to young people's age, gender, developmental stage, and offending needs
  • Experience in leading cross-functional operations and determining resource allocation
