Youth Justice Team Lead

The Youth Justice Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in leading, managing, and developing a dynamic team of Youth Justice staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage casework and the day-to-day delivery of services to clients.
- Supervise and provide leadership to the team, providing authoritative advice and support to Youth Justice workers.
About the Department:
We provide programs and resources to assist young people to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to manage their lives effectively without further offending.
About You:
- A strong understanding of the youth justice system and the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
- Advanced understanding of the principles of case management and case work.
- Demonstrated leadership/mentoring skills and experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to effectively influence and negotiate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work or Advanced Diploma in Community Services Work required.
- Full driver's licence required.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) card required.
