About the Role:

The Strategic Solutions Architect will provide technical leadership and advisory, develop and implement solutions aligned to the blueprints and roadmaps that deliver a cost-effective target business state and optimized business value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and orchestrate application & information solution architecture activities and deliverables to meet the demands and expectations of the Customer Business Unit.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned to enterprise-wide blueprints and roadmaps/future states.
  • Manage the architectural impacts of business change.
  • Recommend solutions that improve cost-effectiveness and flexibility of the portfolio.
  • Provide thought leadership on solution architecture, specifically within the application & information domain, and foster an environment of continuous improvement within IT & Customer Business Unit.
  • Review, provide analysis, position and respond to technical papers as requested by the Chief Architect or Enterprise Architects.
  • Provide expert guidance to delivery teams.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent years of experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering successful solution architectures in large scale environments/enterprises.
  • Experience with modern cloud architecture & data platforms (AWS, Databricks etc).
  • Architecture experience in financial and/or energy markets.
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving ability.
  • Solid presentation development and delivery skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of technical & non-technical stakeholders.
  • The ability to translate technical information to an easily digestible form.
