Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at NDY, a leading firm of consulting engineers with a global presence.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering structural engineering services throughout the project lifecycle, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering technically excellent engineering designs for clients and working collaboratively with project teams.
  • Performing a lead engineer or design management role on projects, leading, motivating, and guiding teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Mentoring and facilitating the technical development of junior resources.
  • Driving business development, winning work, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Bid preparation and submittals as required.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Driving and supporting a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Requirements:

  • Structural Engineering professional with a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Significant experience at a Senior Engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering environment.
  • Previous responsibility across the full project lifecycle, including project delivery.
  • Chartered Engineering status is desirable, or eligible to apply for CPEng/NER.
  • Understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards and demonstrated capability in the design of large structures.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
