About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Buildings & Energy Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural design solutions for various projects.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will work collaboratively with architects, project managers, and other engineers to deliver iconic projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our buildings and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from conception to completion
  • Conduct inspections, assessments, and reporting to ensure compliance with Australian Building Code and Standards
  • Lead or support project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration
  • 8-12 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer
  • Experience in the Australian consulting environment
  • Strong communication and project management skills
