Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lending Manager to join our Wholesale Banking team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for origination, business development, and portfolio management for corporate clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and develop lending opportunities with corporate clients, including diversified corporations across industries such as construction, services, transport, and logistics.
  • Prepare credit proposals and manage the credit approval process for lending, trade finance, and financial market limits.
  • Negotiate loan documentation and trade finance documentation with clients, in collaboration with the coverage team, Risk, and Legal.
  • Ensure effective portfolio management through monitoring of company performance, identifying early warning signals for credit quality deterioration, and performing annual reviews.
  • Support the coverage team in origination and business development of lending products.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in deal-making and credit analysis in the banking industry.
  • A university degree in business, economics, law, or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in syndicated loans, club deals, and bilateral transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial and credit analysis.
  • An eye for detail and strong client focus.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent negotiating, relationship management, and sales skills.
