Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Credit Analysis Manager to join our Wholesale Banking team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing credit proposals and managing the credit approval process for lending, trade finance, and financial market limits. You will also negotiate loan documentation and trade finance documentation with clients, in close collaboration with the coverage team, Risk, and Legal.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years' + relevant deal-making and credit analysis experience in the banking industry, with a strong understanding of financial markets and trading products. They will also have excellent analytical and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum
This salary estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience and qualifications required for the role. It is not intended to reflect the company's budget or any specific figures related to the position.

Key Responsibilities:
* Originate and develop business opportunities with corporate clients across various sectors
* Prepare credit proposals and manage the credit approval process for lending, trade finance, and financial market limits
* Negotiate loan documentation and trade finance documentation with clients, in close collaboration with the coverage team, Risk, and Legal
* Monitor the performance of companies in the portfolio, including identifying Early Warning Signals for a deterioration in credit quality and performing annual reviews

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, or a relevant discipline
* 8 years' + relevant deal-making and credit analysis experience in the banking industry
* Strong analytical and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
