About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Home Lending Specialist to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

As a Senior Home Lending Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing dedicated Homes Lending support to our Small Business Banking, Regional and Agri-Business, and Commercial Banking segments.

You will be responsible for building customer and business partner commitment, maintaining and expanding relationships, and creating longer-term, holistic relationships and customer advocacy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and demonstrating a deep understanding of clients' financial needs and objectives
  • Ensuring the holistic needs of the customer are met and exceeded to improve their financial wellbeing
  • Providing retail solutions to clients, generating new business, and maximising cross-sales while ensuring risk management practices are appropriately implemented
  • Maintaining engagement levels and building strong working relationships with Relationship Managers and their clients
  • Coaching and educating clients on technology, ensuring their understanding and comfort with the tools available to them
  • Creating customer applications, sending them through to the credit department, and ensuring superior accuracy and professionalism with customer documentation
  • Structuring complex applications with commercial exposure through extracting information from company and trust financials
