Project Schedule Coordinator Role
The primary goal of this position is to facilitate the creation and management of project schedules across various business units. To achieve this, you will work closely with project managers to establish and maintain accurate project timelines.
Key responsibilities include creating visibility into project critical paths and dependencies, both internal and external. This requires integrating resource estimation and leveling, as well as maintaining a master schedule that reflects all relevant factors.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a customer delivery focus, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will also need to possess training and/or certification in project management, along with experience working with enterprise project management tools.
A collaborative mindset and ability to work with ambiguity are essential for success in this position. Regular meetings with project managers will be necessary to ensure schedules are up-to-date and provide guidance on scheduling best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience as Project/Portfolio Scheduler or Master Scheduler in a complex environment
- Experience using Enterprise Project Management tools
- Knowledge/experience working with quality compliance frameworks (e.g., ASPICE)
- Proactive, respectful, and collaborative
- Flexible and able to work with ambiguity
- Organized and process-oriented
