Cloud Operations Lead - Job DescriptionThe role of Cloud Operations Lead is to oversee the delivery of cloud-based services, ensuring they meet the required standards of security and reliability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage technical expertise to drive continuous improvement of service delivery and vendor management within our OpenStack cloud environment.
  • Partner with the Service Desk Lead to shape and scale a high-performing operations team across infrastructure, network, and applications.
  • Drive platform modernization initiatives to enhance service excellence in a high-consequence environment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government and private sector clients through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

This position requires a 99.99%+ uptime, 24/7 mission-critical environment, preferably in a military or defence context. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in ITIL-based service operations, and proven experience leading a technical operations team.

Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government security clearance are mandatory requirements for this role.
