As we continue to lead in technological advancements, Vault is now entering a defining phase of growth with a strategic $22.5 million investment from the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC). This investment will scale Vault\'s SECRET Cloud and introduce new services such as the AUKUS cloud capability, directly addressing Australia\'s strategic national security demands. Vault is now positioned to not only strengthen its existing relationships with federal and state government agencies, but also strengthen its relationships with private sector businesses requiring secure cloud storage. We are looking for a
Level 1 Cloud Operations Support and Service Desk resource
to join our team, providing essential support for mission-critical tools that underpin Vault's classified cloud environments. In this role, you will assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining secure, high-stakes systems vital to national security, while supporting the next generation of government technology. Based in our Canberra office, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Australia's cyber defense efforts in the digital domain.
Responsibilities
Providing our customer with an outstanding experience by helping to capture the demand for incident resolution and service requests.
Adequately assess customer tickets and resolve in line with Vault processes. If unable to resolve at first point of contact effectively escalate to the relevant person.
Systematically observe services and service components and record and report selected changes of state identified as events and resolved as required.
Ensuring that services achieve the agreed and expected levels of performance.
Fulfill services request and administration of cloud operations, including access management and networking
Qualifications
The scope of this role requires an Australian Government Security Clearance; therefore, applicants must be Australian Citizens and have the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
2 Year + experience in Service Desk, NOC, EOC or Technical Support
Background in Linux environment administration
Infrastructure & Networking exposure in a similar role
Flexibility and availability to participate in a 24/7 roster
Experience in Operational Environment
Strong written and verbal communication
