Job Description:

The Senior Technology Infrastructure Designer will define how technology infrastructure will be used to accomplish business goals, ensuring that it fits into the existing enterprise environment and meets non-functional requirements as they relate to performance, security, robustness, reliability and scalability.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining and recommending infrastructure options to business and technology problems
  • Developing infrastructure designs
  • Analyzing all non-functional requirements and ensuring that software engineering will meet them, specifically as it relates to the security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability and reliability of a product
  • Making recommendations where infrastructure changes will be needed to meet non-functional requirements
  • Defining solutions to improve existing technology implementations
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in software development, software engineering and software architecture design
  • Commercial experience in a selection of the following: Microsoft .Net (c#), Azure PaaS, SQL Server, Javascript (Angular, React, Knockout), Azure DevOps, REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Sitefinity, Dynamics 365/Power Platform, Azure Data Platform
  • Solid experience in system and data security
  • Demonstrable experience in designing scalable, robust and high performing technology systems
  • Thorough understanding of modern architectural principals and technology stacks and their practical application
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
