Exciting Opportunity for a Legal Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Corporate/M&A team in Sydney to support a partner and their team in delivering high quality legal support. This is a 12 month parental leave cover position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • File management
  • Managing calendars
  • Billing, time coding and reporting
  • Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation)
  • Assisting with events and business development activities

Required Skills and Personal Attributes

  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
  • Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
  • Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
