**Job Description**:

We are seeking an experienced Data Leader to join our innovative technology team as we undergo a period of growth and transformation. This instrumental role will play a key part in shaping our data-driven culture, ensuring data integrity and accessibility, and delivering actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will define and execute the overall data strategy, vision and roadmap, aligning with the Fund's strategic goals. They will lead and grow a high-performing team with expertise across BI, advanced analytics, and investment data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the overall data strategy, vision and roadmap
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team with expertise across BI, advanced analytics, and investment data management
  • Guide the development and innovation of advanced analytics models for forecasting, segmentation, and optimisation across business functions
  • Implement and uphold robust data governance frameworks, including data quality, lineage, and stewardship
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and data management best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in data leadership roles with exposure to all three domains: BI, analytics/data science, and investment/financial data
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional data teams and delivering enterprise-level data solutions
  • Strong technical understanding of data platforms (e.g. SQL, Azure, AWS RDS/ Redshift, Snowflake), BI tools (e.g. Tableau, BigQuery, Power BI), and analytics languages (e.g., Python, R)
  • Experience in the financial services industry or regulated environments
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring compliance with APRA's Prudential Guide CPG 235
