Senior Employee Benefits Business Development Specialist

About the Role
The Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager position plays a crucial role in a retail insurance agency's growth strategy. As the lead client service manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant client portfolio and driving business development through proactive relationship management and service fulfillment.
Key responsibilities include working with mid-to-large-sized clients (500-2,000 employees) with complex self-funding arrangements, developing and implementing marketing strategies for employee benefits cases, providing exceptional customer service, conducting employee meetings, preparing monthly reports, and attending client meetings to review current programs and assist with sales presentations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in employee benefits, preferably in a retail agency setting
- Obtaining a Life and Health license is required
- Additional professional designations such as RHU, REBC, CEBS are highly valued
