About the Role

The Operational Fleet Optimization Specialist is a critical position within Team Global Express, responsible for driving operational efficiency and excellence across our fleet of vehicles. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, cost management, and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their operational needs and develop strategic solutions to optimize fleet performance.
  • Develop and implement long-term fleet plans, taking into account budgetary constraints and resource availability.
  • Manage day-to-day equipment operations, ensuring timely supply of equipment and coordinating allocations, transfers, and disposals.
  • Provide analytical expertise and advice on equipment needs to the business.
  • Analyze financial implications of customer or supplier proposals and provide recommendations for commercial approach.
  • Optimize the use of rental equipment, identifying non-compliance and engaging with customers and suppliers to resolve issues.

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in fleet and equipment management, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Broad supply chain experience and knowledge, including technical, systems, and tools.
  • Tertiary qualifications in commercial or logistics preferred.
  • HSE leadership experience and a strong understanding of key business drivers.
  • Ability to apply logic and experience to make timely, sound judgments.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate for successful outcomes at a senior level.

Salary and Benefits:
