Role Overview

As a Senior Lawyer, you will lead justice reform in Victoria's fastest-growing corridor. This role involves delivering high-quality legal services in criminal law, family violence, and youth crime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional legal expertise to clients facing complex matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers to enhance team capability.
  • Represent clients in complex court proceedings.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Lawyer B (Youth Crime Lead):
  • Oversee the Youth Crime Practice Lead across the Sunshine and South-West region.
  • Support senior lawyers and early-career lawyers in youth crime matters.
  • Develop and implement systemic advocacy to improve legal outcomes for young people.

  • Technical excellence in criminal law, with expertise in family violence and youth crime.
  • Excellent advocacy skills, sound judgment, compassion, and cultural awareness.
