As a Senior Lawyer, you will lead justice reform in Victoria's fastest-growing corridor. This role involves delivering high-quality legal services in criminal law, family violence, and youth crime.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional legal expertise to clients facing complex matters.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers to enhance team capability.
- Represent clients in complex court proceedings.
- Oversee the Youth Crime Practice Lead across the Sunshine and South-West region.
- Support senior lawyers and early-career lawyers in youth crime matters.
- Develop and implement systemic advocacy to improve legal outcomes for young people.
- Technical excellence in criminal law, with expertise in family violence and youth crime.
- Excellent advocacy skills, sound judgment, compassion, and cultural awareness.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills to build trust across diverse teams.
