About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Project Officer to join our team at the University of South Australia. As a key member of our Student and Academic Services unit, you will play a critical role in driving projects that improve student and academic administration practices.

Reporting to the Manager: Programs and Academic Policy, you will be responsible for benchmarking and conducting new or existing policy reviews, liaising with areas across the university to operationalise policy initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional critical analysis skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will have a strong understanding of higher education policies and regulations, with experience in policy development and implementation.

You will be a dedicated and proactive individual, with a commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to work autonomously, set priorities and manage tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve student and academic administration practices
  • Conduct benchmarking and policy reviews, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for change

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Manager: Programs and Academic Policy
