The role is based in Melbourne, providing an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on uninterrupted power supplies, DC power systems, automatic transfer switches, diesel generators, harmonic filters, frequency converters, and power factor correction equipment.

Our team offers attractive salaries based on skills and experience, with a 38-hour week plus RDOs, ongoing training and development opportunities, company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided.

As a **Field Service Engineer**, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining power quality and reliability equipment, consulting with clients on their specific requirements, and collaborating with sales and project teams to ensure the smooth delivery of upgrades and new installations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation, commissioning, and ongoing service for a variety of power quality and reliability equipment
  • Consulting with clients on their specific requirements
  • Work with sales and project teams to ensure the smooth delivery and implementation of upgrades and new installations.

You will also provide reports and advice to our valued client base, ensuring clients are informed about the strengths and weaknesses of their critical power systems.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, a mature outlook, and a willingness to expand your knowledge. You must hold an electrical qualification and be an Australian citizen. Additionally, sound computer skills in Excel/Word applications are essential.

A strong background working with data centre and/or facilities management clients is desirable, as well as experience with large DC battery systems, generator control systems, automatic transfer switches, or harmonic filters.

We offer a highly competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, reflecting the importance of this role in maintaining the integrity of our clients' critical power systems.
