We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Electronics Hardware Development Specialist to join our customer office in Australia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will contribute to the development activities of our Hardware Engineering team, undertaking independent detailed electronic design tasks and supporting product sustaining activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electronic devices that meet all defined product requirements, including unit cost targets.
  • Carefully consider Design for Manufacture / Assembly / Service to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Drive development projects forward with a sense of urgency, following our defined New Product Development process.
  • Act quickly in response to quality issues discovered in production or the field.
  • Explore opportunities to add innovative features that delight customers.
  • Leverage previous designs to save on development and validation effort.
  • Work with Production Engineers to deploy newly designed products into the production line.
  • Develop comprehensive user-facing documentation, such as Product User Manuals and Specification Sheets.
  • Contribute to Hardware Product Roadmaps and support Field Application Engineers and Aftermarket Technicians.
  • Provide pre-sales assistance to Sales Personal and Field Application Engineers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
