We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Spray Painter to fill this position in Sydney.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced Spray Painters, learning the skills and techniques required to produce high-quality finishes on heavy vehicles.

  • Cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicle surfaces to prepare them for paint
  • Mixing and matching paint colours to accurately match desired colour
  • Using spray guns and other equipment to apply paint evenly and smoothly onto vehicle surfaces
  • Applying primers and sealers to promote paint adhesion, prevent rust, and create a solid foundation for the topcoat
  • Applying multiple layers of paint, including basecoat, clearcoat, and other specialised coatings
  • Skilfully blending new paint into existing areas
  • Performing detailed touch-ups to correct imperfections
  • Creating special textures, patterns, or effects using different techniques
  • Monitoring and controlling drying and curing processes
  • Inspecting painted surfaces for flaws
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
