The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of accounting experience within audit and/or the Software as a Service (SaaS) or related sector, with knowledge of Australian compliance including BAS, payroll tax, and corporate tax.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required, along with CPA or CA qualification. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and advanced Excel skills.

As an Accounting Manager at Veracross, you will be responsible for managing local financial operations of Australia business unit, developing and maintaining control environment, overseeing month-end close activities, and supporting preparation and review of Company payroll.

You will also be responsible for working capital management and cash flow management, as well as ensuring all tax compliance, including timely completion of all tax returns and any other tax-related compliance.

The role requires strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work, as well as ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across functional areas. Experience working with Salesforce and across time zones in a global company is advantageous.
