Supporting Aboriginal Families in Need

Australian Barnardos Recruitment Services is seeking an Aboriginal identified Child and Family Health Worker to join our team.

This is a full-time position based in Warrawong, Dharawal Lands, offering a salary of $60,398-87,301 + superannuation.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally safe and relevant parenting support and care to Aboriginal Families.
  • Work with local Aboriginal communities to plan, deliver, and evaluate programs focusing on health promotion.
  • Develop strong, culturally appropriate partnerships with local Aboriginal health services to enhance program success.
Requirements
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Woman as authorised under Section 14(d) and 31 of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and represent the needs of Aboriginal women and families.
  • Understand and uphold standards of privacy and confidentiality.
  • Hold a valid NSW Class C Driver's Licence and a current Working With Children Check.
  • Vaccination Compliance: Fully meet NSW Health vaccination requirements with documented immunisation history.
