Role Summary

The primary focus of this Child Protection Caseworker position is to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and their families. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote positive outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to reports of safety concerns and work collaboratively with families to develop solutions that address their unique needs.
  • Conduct home visits, assessments, and risk evaluations to identify potential risks and develop safety plans.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, community members, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in court processes, including document preparation and attendance, to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills in child protection and social work.

Requirements

  • Completed or nearing completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
