Learning Experience Designer

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pedagogical theory and instructional design models, especially in self-paced and online learning. They will also possess excellent writing, research, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as a deep knowledge of RTO compliance, including ASQA standards and assessment validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of learning experiences across a range of subjects using Moodle and H5P.">
  • Create engaging course content and activities that improve student engagement, knowledge retention, and completion rates.">
  • Adapt, enhance, and quality-check existing learning and assessment materials for alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.">
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure content is current and relevant.">
  • Apply adult learning principles and our learning design standards to all content.">
  • Curate and integrate external resources to enrich student learning.">
  • Support continuous improvement by analysing feedback, conducting quality reviews, and driving innovation in learning design.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

We are looking for an experienced Learning Experience Designer who possesses the following qualifications:

">

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with 5+ years of instructional design experience in the VET or adult education sector

">

• Deep understanding of pedagogical theory and instructional design models, especially in self-paced and online learning

">

• Proven ability to develop learning and assessment content aligned with Australian Training Packages and AQF standards

">

• Demonstrated experience in creating engaging digital learning resources using tools like H5P and Moodle

">

• Exceptional writing, research, and stakeholder engagement skills

">

• Strong knowledge of RTO compliance, including ASQA standards and assessment validation

">
