About the Opportunity

John Paul College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Property Services team in a term-time role.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Facilities team, ensuring the smooth operation of the College and its facilities. This part-time role requires flexibility and the ability to manage priorities and tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support services, including diary management, scheduling, contractor management, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Participate in quality control activities, including document review, process management, data entry, and information collation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and associates to provide an effective and efficient service to the Facilities Manager and the wider school community.
  • Respond to and allocate incoming communications and tasks, using judgment to ensure deadlines are appropriately prioritized.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environment policies, procedures, hazard reporting, and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working environment.
  • Excellent administrative skills, with the ability to communicate in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Previous experience in maintenance coordination.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to work flexibly.
  • Experience with and a passion for compliance and safety.
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performing team.
