We're seeking a seasoned Contract Administrator/Project Coordinator to join our team. If you have a passion for fit-out or commercial construction, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

This role involves managing contracts, supporting project managers, and communicating effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. You'll work closely with our team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Interpret construction contracts, manage contract administration processes, maintain documentation, identify and mitigate risks, and apply knowledge of construction law and relevant legislation.
  • Support Project Managers: Apply solid project management principles, plan/schedule/monitor progress, manage budgets/resources, report on performance, and identify/resolve issues.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate with internal teams and stakeholders both verbally and through clear and concise documentation.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate commercial risks to maximize project value.
  • CDC / DC / CC / OC Process Navigation: Navigate and manage the CDC / DC / CC / OC process for projects on behalf of the Client and the Project Manager, meeting tight timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Contract Administrator/Project Coordinator in fit-out or commercial construction.
  • Workspace fit-out/commercial experience.
  • Familiarity with IT systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ideal formal qualification such as Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction (Building), Bachelor of Construction Management (or equivalent).
