About the role

Ventia’s Australian Marine Complex (AMC) has an opportunity for a Quality and Assurance Manager to join their team. This role is based within the AMC Common User Facility in Henderson.

The AMC Common User Facility is a multi-industry, multi-user industrial facility serviced by a deep-water port, a floating dock and transfer system, specialised load out wharves, extensive laydown and assembly areas, and several large fabrication halls.

Key duties include:

  • Implementing assurance, compliance, audit planning, and execution of improvements.
  • Leading the development of a sustainable and complete document management approach for the project.
  • Supporting SHEQ and Project staff to identify contractual deliverables and implementing adequate assurance programs to monitor compliance.
  • Leading internal auditing and inspection activities to ensure compliance across the project.
  • Monitoring and developing strategies to improve SHEQ and project performance.
  • Providing expert advice and practical solutions to teams to ensure Assurance & Quality compliance.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in OHS, science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Lead Auditor qualification and audit experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in safety, environment, and delivery of quality auditing roles (internal & external).
  • 5+ years in similar industry, services, or construction organization.
  • Operational experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in delivery of internal audit programs.
  • Experience in structuring quality systems and writing efficient and effective quality documentation.
