The position of Principal Quality Engineer is open for application. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out specialist quality activities across England, ensuring compliance with the local quality business management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and support to the quality function while ensuring that the business unit remains compliant with the local quality business management system.
- Manage your tasks effectively, deliver results, identify and anticipate risks, and escalate problem areas.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in your specialist area, leading improvement initiatives across the business unit and supply chain to drive quality performance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, Share Point, and SAP.
- Problem-solving skills and techniques, including 8D, DMAIC, etc.
- Inspection experience.
- Able to produce data and analyze trends.
- HNC qualified or equivalent qualification/experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Lead audit qualified to ISO 9001:2015.
- Reporting skills.
- Knowledge of submarine businesses.
