About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Injury Management Consultant to join our team in Darwin, NT. As an Injury Management Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our Injury Management model across Claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Claims Consultants to provide timely delivery of care and treatment to support recovery and return to life and work outcomes
  • Ensure return to life and work outcomes, tailored to our customers' individual goals are achieved
  • Work with teams, technical specialists and Team Leaders to provide support to claims teams and proactively provide education in the areas of medical and injury management
  • Support cost-effective injury management by ensuring treatment and rehabilitation services are aligned to effective claim outcomes and evidenced-based best practice
Requirements
  • A degree or tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health field, e.g. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Nursing
  • Demonstrated experience in either personal injury, disability or health industry
  • Experience in CTP, Workers Compensation or Occupational Rehabilitation highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Highly developed skills in coaching, influencing and relationship building
  • A drive for change and continual improvement
