Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Gorilla Jobs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse case load, including pre-claim support, WA Workers Compensation & Motor-Vehicle Insurance claims.

Key responsibilities will include delivering case management and coordinating rehabilitation services, identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers, and developing tailored rehabilitation programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of working within a multi-disciplinary team and managing stakeholders, as well as evidence of proactive Injury Management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse case load, including pre-claim support, WA Workers Compensation & Motor-Vehicle Insurance claims
  • Deliver case management and coordinate rehabilitation services
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers, developing tailored rehabilitation programs
  • Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, providing viable solutions and recommendations
  • Engage in specific services: Workplace Job Analysis, Assessments, ADL, Vocational & Psychological Assessments, and Project work

Requirements
  • Qualifications and accreditations – Rehabilitation Counsellor (ASORC), Exercise Physiologist (ESSA), Psychologist (AHPRA), Occupational Therapist (AHPRA), Physiotherapist (AHPRA), and/or Nurse (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 1 year of workplace rehabilitation experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of working within a multi-disciplinary team and managing stakeholders
  • Evidence of proactive Injury Management experience
