We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated PASS Leader to facilitate group discussions and activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in selected courses within UNSW Business School.


As a PASS Leader, you will work closely with senior students who have excelled in the relevant subjects to help students develop skills for independent study, gain a deeper understanding of course content, and build confidence in their studies.


The ideal candidate will be highly organized, enthusiastic, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Facilitate weekly 60-minute out-of-class study sessions for students enrolled in selected courses
  • Develop and implement engaging discussion topics and activities that promote active learning and student participation
  • Provide support and guidance to students, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
  • Work collaboratively with other PASS Leaders and the CASE team to ensure seamless delivery of the program


What You'll Gain:


As a PASS Leader, you will have the opportunity to develop valuable leadership and communication skills while making a positive impact on the academic success of our students. You will also receive training prior to commencement and be supervised and supported by the CASE team and PASS Coordinators in the School.



Requirements:



  • A strong passion for teaching and learning, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of enthusiasm and dedication to facilitating student success
  • Familiarity with UNSW Business School's courses and curriculum


Benefits:



  • Casual pay rate of $47.0375 per hour (HEW 3.1)

Estimated Salary Range:


$47.04 per hour
