Job Title: Aged Care Worker

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents.
  • Ensure person-centred support and support plans are at the forefront of everything you do.
  • Partner with residents to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life.
  • Coordinate with other staff to achieve outcomes and liaise directly with nursing staff regarding any specific health concerns.
  • Support residents with everyday activities such as eating, personal hygiene tasks, mobility, household tasks and leisure activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support.
  • Work well and contribute effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Hold a Certificate III or working towards attaining one (desirable) or willingness to obtain one.
