Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Assurance Quality Uplift is a pivotal position requiring leadership and expertise to redefine quality standards, re-engineer processes, and lead assurance testing.

About the Role:

  • Redefine quality standards for 2nd Line Risk Assurance across SOX Prudential, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Project domains.
  • Re-engineer 2nd Line Risk Assurance processes, develop methodologies, training, and quality frameworks.
  • Lead annual assurance testing and transformation initiatives, such as Analytics & Automation strategies.
  • Perform independent reviews and evaluations along the change process.
  • Maintain updates to the Risk and Compliance Assurance Manual.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to ensure responsibilities are exercised in enhancing risk frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Financial Services, including assurance, risk & compliance, quality assurance, practice management, process optimisation, or project management backgrounds.
  • Ability to standardise and optimise controls effectively and efficiently.
  • Outstanding project coordination skills to successfully plan, implement, and drive change & transformation.
  • Potential leadership skills to recruit and manage a team.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CA, CISA, CIA, FRM, MBA are desirable.
  • Technical skills in data analytics, business intelligence, and automation are advantageous.
