Job Overview

As a Rental Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of our rental operations. You will be responsible for coordinating all jobs related to rental business operations within our Energy division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Identify client expectations and rapidly problem-solve to resolve areas of non-conformance or complaints.
  • Rental Operations Management: Manage/maintain all rental jobs, including parts & service, labour hire, rental, and projects.
  • Labour Cost Management: Manage all rental labour costs, including installation jobs and track all variances.
  • Hire Records: Maintain all hire records and documentation associated with equipment/resource hire.
  • Contract Variations: Address and submit all contract variations on time.
  • Customer Recharge: Timely management of customer recharge for damaged or misused equipment.
  • Direct Costs: Review/monitor direct costs.
  • Procurement: Utilise authority level to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement.
  • Asset Procurement: Recommend asset procurement where possible to displace cross-hire.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Skills: Proven experience in energy operations coordination roles preferably in an energy environment for power generation and/or dewatering environment.
  • Technical Skills: Technical experience in equipment manufacturing or maintenance or operation of a range of equipment.
  • Safety Systems: Experienced with development and management of safety systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and pay close attention to detail.
  • Organisational Skills: Organisational and time-management skills.
