Equipment Rental Specialist

This dynamic role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of equipment rental operations, from initial engagement to post-delivery support
  • Develop comprehensive pricing strategies and collaborate closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of rental equipment
  • Administer contract management, ensuring accurate monthly invoicing and hours tracking
  • Maintain up-to-date records of rental assets, including fleet inventory and maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate equipment loading and unloading for deliveries, promoting seamless customer experience
  • Provide excellent customer service through proactive follow-up on equipment conditions
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure prompt service and repair of rental equipment
  • Identify business growth opportunities through strategic marketing initiatives and client relationships
  • Stay informed about industry trends in crushing operations
  • Develop and implement a rental equipment maintenance program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar Equipment Rental Specialist role within a SME environment
  • In-depth knowledge of plant used in mining, quarry, and recycling industries
  • Proven track record of achieving high utilisation rates and securing new business
  • Strong organisational, time management, and planning skills
  • Intermediate/advanced computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
  • Qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Sales
  • White Card
  • Valid Drivers License
