The type of dental practitioner we are looking for is someone who works well in a team environment, is not averse to moving around the country at short notice, and occasionally abroad. You will possess high professional standards and a strong work ethic.

Navy dental facilities vary from large multi-dental surgery clinics offering general and specialist dental services to single dental surgery clinics at a base or on a ship. Our facilities are modern and fully equipped, supported by well-trained dental auxiliaries and clerical staff.

Additional Duties

In addition to your normal duties, you will be designated as a Divisional Officer throughout your career. This involves leadership, management, administration, and career advice to junior officers and sailors within your Division, which may involve up to fifty personnel.

As a member of the ship's company, you may also be engaged in general officer responsibilities, including Public Relations Officer or Security Officer for the ship.
