Job Title:

Data Protection Professional
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation;
  • Provide guidance on data handling practices to meet industry standards;
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to enhance data protection measures across the organization;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection initiatives;
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations, providing recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures;
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data protection best practices;
  • Investigate and resolve data breaches, ensuring timely and effective responses to minimize impact;
  • Monitor and report on data protection metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions;
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as auditors and regulators, to maintain high standards of data protection.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations;
  • Experience in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and recommend solutions to complex data protection issues;
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations, and provide recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data protection software;
  • High-level organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
