Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as a link between business objectives and technical solutions, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, aligned, and optimally integrated within the existing technical landscape and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading in the knowledge of the Client Information Management System (CIMS), including data extraction, help desk functions, and enhancements of configurations.
  • Collecting and analysing homelessness data ensuring it meets national minimum data standards.
  • Providing the data strategy, processes and mentoring of the data team to perform their duties.
  • Leading the analysis and documentation of business requirements and facilitation of business and system solutions.
  • Working with technical specialists to identify and evaluate feasible, cost-efficient, and effective technical solutions that complies with regulatory requirements, security standards, department, and industry best practices.
  • Providing proactive and evidence-based expert advice on homelessness data and systems to support development of homelessness policies and strategies.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain data in easy to understand language.
  • A high level of experience in client management systems, particularly CIMS, and superior understanding of the specialist homelessness services collection (SHSC).
  • Strong decision making, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to manage, develop and mentor a team.
  • High attention to detail.
