
Child Protection Specialist

This permanent full-time position is within a multidisciplinary Child Protection Unit and will provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise to social workers. The role ensures high-quality assessments and therapy are provided to clients of the unit, models of service delivery are responsive to client needs, and evidence-based practice is utilised.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects, monitoring progress, and enhancing service quality improvement.
About You
- You have eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- You demonstrate a high-level understanding of current child protection and child sexual assault service policy and practice.
- You have experience in developing projects, monitoring progress, and enhancing service quality improvement.
- Provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise to social workers in the Child Protection Unit.
- Ensure high-quality assessments and therapy are provided to clients of the unit.
- Manage projects, monitor progress, and enhance service quality improvement.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure best practice in child protection and child sexual assault service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to promote effective and efficient service delivery.
