Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our Property team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing facility maintenance requests, coordinating with subcontractors, and supporting the Senior Facilities Lead with tenders and budget management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for Kieser's clinics, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  2. Support the Senior facilities Lead with tenders for planned maintenance, working closely with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with industry best practice and legislative requirements.
  3. Manage work orders that arise from facility audits and assist with standards improvement initiatives.
  4. Manage essential maintenance work tied to risk mitigation, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  5. Build strong relationships with clinics and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment that supports the delivery of exceptional patient care.
  6. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget, providing high-quality services that meet the needs of Kieser's clients.
  7. Complete general administration tasks and provide support to the Property team, contributing to the smooth operation of the facilities management function.
  8. Work with the Senior Facilities Lead to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of operations, industry best practice, and legislative requirements related to facilities management.
  2. Knowledge of work order management systems and the ability to effectively manage and coordinate maintenance activities.
  3. Valid working rights in Australia.

Desirable Qualifications

  1. Tertiary education in Facilities Management or a related field.
  2. Experience managing budgets and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
