
Adolescent Healthcare Specialist

As a Clinical Nurse in Adolescent Services, you will deliver specialist clinical care across Adolescent Medicine Outpatient Services. Your focus will be on person-centred care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions and support programs for young people and their families.
You will lead and support clinical education by mentoring junior staff, facilitating student learning, and contributing to a positive team culture.
Additionally, you will drive service improvement by contributing to research, clinical audits, and the development of protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
You should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience is required, with demonstrated competence in adolescent healthcare.
Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team is essential.
