Senior Adolescent Healthcare Specialist

The Women's & Children's Health Network seeks a Clinical Nurse to deliver specialist clinical care across Adolescent Medicine Outpatient Services, including Eating Disorders, Gender Diversity, Adolescent Transition, and Complex Medical Clinics. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in multidisciplinary teams, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic interventions and support programs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic interventions and support programs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead and support clinical education by mentoring junior staff, facilitating student learning, and contributing to a positive team culture that fosters growth and development.
- Drive service improvement through research, clinical audits, and protocol development while supporting change and innovation in adolescent health services.
- A registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practicing certificate.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience with demonstrated competence in adolescent healthcare.
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Sound knowledge of healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and current clinical best practices that promote excellence in patient care.
