About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lifestyle Facilitator to join our team at OneLife NQ Inc. as a Disability Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and social support.
  • Help clients achieve their personal goals and objectives.
  • Provide support in areas such as showering, toileting, and meal preparation.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, built on trust, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, with a focus on supporting independence and autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, as well as a Working With Children Check (blue card).
  • Sound knowledge of the NDIS practice standards and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
