Job Description

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager will lead the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation methodologies to support the successful delivery of programs. This includes developing and refining program logics and MEL plans to ensure program outcomes are consistently and effectively tracked.

A key responsibility is establishing standardised indicators and metrics that make up our impact framework, along with the methodologies required for their collection.

Collaboration is central to this role. The MEL Manager will support Program Managers to apply consistent and meaningful data collection practices.

This role will also support the Communications team in incorporating key outcomes and impact measures into external communications and reports, ensuring timely and transparent reporting to stakeholders.

About You
  • You have demonstrated experience in developing fit-for-purpose monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks with a focus on large environmental and social programs.
  • You have experience measuring, evaluating and reporting on the impact of complex projects and programs.
  • You can build MEL capability within organisations through training, mentoring and resource development.
  • You can thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, able to prepare high-quality reports and presentations.
