Lead Developer of Oracle Applications

Join a team of talented developers to lead the development of new application components and work packages for existing or new APEX/oracle applications.

  • Work collaboratively within an agile delivery team to design, develop, and deliver Oracle Apex related software (web app, mobile) to meet the needs of business units.
  • Ensure that the specification and design of Oracle Apex related software changes meet defined business needs, align with enterprise and solution architectures, and comply with standards.
  • Integrate software solutions with existing solutions such as OCI, AWS, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Resolve, .NET, and webMethods.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated senior experience in the use of a range of Oracle development tools and the Oracle database (PL/SQL) environment, including recognised and emerging technologies.
  • Experience using source code controls and Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, GIT, SourceTree, etc.
  • Experience across a range of waterfall, iterative, incremental, and agile software development methodologies.

About This Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role in our development team. As a Lead Developer of Oracle Applications, you will be responsible for leading the development of new application components and work packages for existing or new APEX/oracle applications.

You will work closely with the business and IT specialists to ensure that the software meets the needs of the business units and aligns with enterprise and solution architectures.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge and demonstrated senior experience in the use of a range of Oracle development tools and the Oracle database (PL/SQL) environment, including recognised and emerging technologies.

They will also have experience using source code controls and Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, GIT, SourceTree, etc., and experience across a range of waterfall, iterative, incremental, and agile software development methodologies.
